The idea to start ShutterFreek Photography began as an incentive to take on new challenges, and discover  new opportunities with photography and film.  They knew the best way to expand their knowledge was more time behind the camera. They continue to learn something new from every shoot and find it  interesting how each new client brings with them  completely new personality elements that alter the final outcome of the shoot.  Being instruments to help provide joy in peoples life through photography is something they both strive for as a lifestyle.

They never know from one shoot to the next exactly where the shoot is going to take place.  Paul likes taking time out to go exploring for new locations.  He tends to stick with really old buildings, sheds, barns, houses...anything with interesting colors and textures.  Many clients have referred to our work as, "urban or vintage, unstuffy or just....different."  Whatever it is, we have a blast doing it and it's something we'll do throughout our lives.  Paul and Katie are very grateful to have this interest in common.  "There's nothing more rewarding that going on a shoot with your hunee"...says Paul.
 
We love the opportunity to get to know new people on a personal level, and to be able to contribute our time and talent to enhancing the quality of their life through photos.
